The rich, deep shade of madder red in a hand-blockprinted Kalamkari is crafted from soft organic cotton using vegetable dyes, and features accordion pleats and a versatile loop tie-up along the neckline, giving you the freedom to embrace your bohemian side.

Craft: This piece is Hand-dyed & Hand block-printed with Organic Vegetable Dyes that are prepared from pomegranate peels, bits of iron and jaggery, madder roots, myrobalan flower and more. This process of Hand-printed Kalamkari is native to the Pedana district of Andhra Pradesh and is made in collaboration with a small business. No two fabric swatches look alike and each meter of fabric roughly takes 21-26 days to complete.

Please Note: Since the products here are hand block-printed meticulously with natural dyes at play, the print and the colors may posses a slight difference. However, we have made sure that there wouldn’t be a significant difference as seen on the website. The variation in dyeing and minor imperfections are a prized characteristic of handcrafted products.
With a little care, all our products can a last a lifetime!
- Hand wash with cold water with mild detergent.
- Wash separately to avoid staining in case of colour bleeding.
- Steam or hot iron press can be used on the reverse side.
- Dry in shade. Do not dry in direct sunlight to avoid colour fading.
- Do not dry clean or machine wash.
